Lisa Brochu

Lisa Brochu started at GDS in May 2014 as an Administrative Assistant in our Augusta, Maine office and currently is the Office Manager. Prior to GDS, she worked as a Medical Assistant for many years. Lisa is still working towards a degree from the University of Maine-Augusta. The Maine office has been implementing the Efficiency Maine Commercial & Industrial Program for 10+ years. Lisa provides assistance to the team, the clients, contractors, and customers.
What has working at GDS taught you?
Working at GDS has taught me that the clients are the most important. It is up to me to continue to work hard and meet expectations to ensure we maintain the clients trust and confidence. This would not be achievable without the earnest contributions and collaboration of the Augusta, ME team.
What do you enjoy doing on your day off?
I enjoy snowshoeing, planting vegetable gardens & sunflowers, camping and fishing and an occasional trip to our hunting cabin in the Allagash. I do not shy away from a DIY project around the house.
What is the best vacation you’ve been on?
I have 2 favorites – our trips to France & Ireland to visit our daughters while they were studying abroad.
What is on your bucket list?
To build a functioning greenhouse – I would love the ability to grow vegetables & flowers year-round.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself?
I did not speak English until I went to school – I am bilingual French
Do you play any sports or participate in any extra-curricular activities?
I exercise regularly and thoroughly enjoy a backyard game of any sort.
Tell us about your family – what do you like to do with them?
Al & I have been married for 27+ years, we have 2 daughters Alyssa (25) & Arika (22). We enjoy family gatherings, playing games, bonfires and good food.
