Employee Spotlight - Trisha Wittmann

The Employee Spotlight for October is Trisha Wittmann. Trisha joined the GDS Team in June of 2020, as a Human Resources Generalist. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stout with a BS in Business Administration. After graduating from college, Trisha was deployed to Iraq with the Wisconsin Army National Guard and spent a year providing convoy security throughout Iraq. After returning from deployment, Trisha started her career in Human Resources and has spent the last 14 years in many HR functional areas.

What do you enjoy doing on your day off?

We relocated from WI to GA 2 years ago this fall, so exploring our new “home” area is something we really love doing. As a family we love checking out surrounding cities, hiking, and spending days boating on Allatoona Lake. I also spend a lot of time designing our home projects. My husband and I have just about redone our whole house!

Any career lessons you have learned thus far?  

Never stop learning.

Do you have a favorite quote?

“Mindset is everything.”  “Be scared and do it anyway.”

What is your favorite meal?

Since forever, my go to favorite meal is a bowl of cereal.

Do you play any sports or participate in any extra-curricular activities (e.g. volunteering)?

I enjoy running, although since moving to GA I will be honest these hills are a thing to get used to! I also coach for my daughter’s cheer team. This is my 2^nd year, and I absolutely love it!

Family and friends: tell us about your family/what do you like to do with your family and friends?

My family includes my husband, Jon and our 2 kids. My daughter, Audrina, is 9 and my son, Ford, is 2.
